CD CRICKET WELCOMES SPRIG + FERN BREWING CO
Central Districts Cricket is delighted to announce a new partnership with Nelson craft beer and cider brand, SPRIG + FERN BREWING CO.
As our newest major partner, Sprig + Fern will be making its debut at Central’s home Super Smash events this summer, and joins our commercial family as shirt sleeve sponsors of our flagship teams, the Central Stags and Central Hinds.
With Sprig + Fern's brewery based in the Tasman district of New Zealand, the partnership continues the CD tradition of supporting innovative, community-focused brands from our own regional heartland.
With 15 Sprig + Fern Taverns also situated around the country (three in Nelson, six in Tasman, one in Christchurch, and five in Wellington), our newest partners are in all the right places for a visit during the Dream11 Super Smash holiday season coming up this January.
Sprig + Fern’s carefully crafted beer, cider and soda will be available at all CD’s hosted T20 doubleheaders this season, at Saxton Oval in Nelson (4 and 6 January), Palmerston North (12 Jan) and Napier’s McLean Park (15, 17 and 29 Jan) as the Central Stags and Hinds take on the rest of the country.
Sprig + Fern owner and Master Brewer TRACY BANNER said the company is excited to support cricket and cricket fans in the regions as the newest official brand partner of the Central Hinds and Stags.
“As a brand, we love bringing people together, whether that's at a Sprig + Fern Tavern, hosting friends or family at home, or - in this case - at a packed sportsground this summer, cheering on the Central Stags and Central Hinds,” said Banner.
“We're delighted to have Sprig + Fern partnering with Central Districts Cricket, and having our beer, cider and soda available to enjoy alongside some terrific games at Saxton Oval, Fitzherbert Park and McLean Park.
