CD UNDER 19 MEN NAMED FOR NATIONALS

The first of the season's two NZC Under 19 National Tournaments begins this weekend, our CENTRAL DISTRICTS UNDER 19 Men heading to Lincoln, Canterbury to contest the premier annual New Zealand age-group title.

Coached by former Central Stags captain KIERAN NOEMA-BARNETT for the first time this year, CD Under 19 last won the men's title two years ago, and every season brings a fresh start, fresh squad and fresh opportunities to learn and shine against other emerging talents from right around New Zealand.

A squad of 13 Central Districts representatives will travel to the Nationals, with four non-travelling reserves on standby for the week and travelling if required.

GEORGE MOWAT (First XI captain of Lindisfarne College, in Hastings) has been appointed to lead the group as CD U19 captain.

Five rounds of white-ball cricket, as well as rest days in the busy schedule, lie ahead of a Finals Day when the tournament will culminate in 1v2, 3v4 and 5v6 playoffs.

All matches are on the three grounds at NZC's High Performance Centre complex, with players accommodated on site.

Livescores will be available for all the games and, for those matches played on Bert Sutcliffe Oval, there will also be a free livestream - including two of CD U19's games, on 3 and 6 December.

Congratulations to the following players that will be representing Central Districts proudly.
